Line Cook / Prep Cook – Cafeclub (Downtown Vancouver)
Cafeclub is a busy, independent coffee shop in the heart of downtown Vancouver (Georgia & Burrard). We’re known for our premium coffee, pastries, and an all-day menu of sandwiches, salads, and breakfast/lunch items; everything made fresh in-house.
We’re looking for a Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team full-time.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 5 days/week (day shifts, no late nights)
- Hours: 30–40 hrs/week
- Pay: $18–20+ per hour (depending on experience) + $3–4/hr in tips
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
What You’ll Do:
- Prep ingredients (chopping, portioning, cooking proteins, labeling, etc.)
- Make sandwiches, salads, and simple breakfast/lunch items during service
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
- Help with opening and closing duties
- Work closely with the team and follow direction
Who We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of kitchen experience (café/restaurant preferred)
- Reliable, clean, and detail-oriented
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Care about food quality and presentation
- Punctual and professional
