Responsibilities:
- Wage based on experience
- Clean patient rooms as per instructions given
- Sterilize non-critical dental tools and use the autoclave
- Organize patient pans as per up coming days
- Order equipment and materials
- Organizational skills required and attention to detail
- Seat patients, and let the practitioner know when the room is ready
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments - when needed
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records system
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterilization area, rooms and material organization in drawers
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office if possible
- Sterilization if possible
- Must have a drivers license and speak fluent English
- Willing to be hands on and maintain pace to the patient schedule
- Proficient in office software applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidentiality maintenance and understanding
