Hyatt Place Moncton is looking to immediately fill the position of Full-Time Overnight Houseperson!
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, his/her designate and Manager on Duty. The Houseperson is responsible for the following:
- Overall cleanliness of all public spaces and pool area with maintaining high level of sanitation
- Basic pool and spa maintenance
- Provide assistance to guest on safety matters
- Provide added security for hotel guests
- Monitor exterior and interior of the hotel to ensure registered guests only are permitted to access the building during overnight hours
- Follow procedures of the Hyatt Place standards for housekeeping services
- Ensure that quality and cleanliness standards are being maintained
- Perform other duties as required
SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of the operational policies and procedures of a hotel.
- 1 year janitorial experience preferred
- WHIMS training or be trained within 30 days of hire.
- Proven ability in customer service
- Required to have or obtain First Aid and CPR Training within probation period
- Able to work without supervision in a positive manner and work as an active team member
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning concepts and principles
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Bilingual in both official languages is an asset
- Willing to work between 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
