Position Title: Order Desk
Location: Calgary, AB
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Order desk is responsible for reviewing and editing incoming orders, coordinating with warehouses and freight providers, and maintaining accurate records for invoicing and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit orders received for any discrepancies, such as codes or delivery date inform customers of any issues or shortages.
- Send orders to the appropriate warehouse.
- Invoice customers and book any required trucking.
- Replenishment - Review inventory levels of items by vender, issue a purchase order and arrange transportation.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or a related field would be considered an asset.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or a similar role.
- Ability to prioritize and organize.
- Strong attention to detail including high level of accuracy and speed with data entry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications would be considered an asset.
