The administrative team works closely with and supports the Department Chair, Undergraduate Chair, and Graduate Chair in department operations. At the undergraduate level, Psychology is the largest department in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. At the graduate level, we have six core areas of Psychology as well as the professional Ph.D. training program in Clinical Psychology. About the Role
Provides administrative support and assistance to the Manager, Academic and Administrative Services, the Department of Psychology, and the Cognitive Science Program. Assists with the administration of meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and special events by booking rooms; arranging catering; and coordinating facilities requests. Responds to information requests from faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students about university policies and procedures and directs them as appropriate. Provides receptionist and front-line client services, general clerical support and correspondence; maintaining databases; maintaining departmental information (e.g., directories, schedules, phone lists, mail-lists, etc.); maintaining departmental office supplies; processing daily mail; and maintaining the general office area and office equipment.
