This job posting is for an existing vacancy and is intended to fill a current position within our organization.

We are currently looking for a Newcomer Youth Settlement Advisor to join our team of committed professionals. This Part-time Contract (1 year) position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Elm location in Sudbury.

Under the leadership of the Program Manager, the Newcomer Youth Settlement Advisor provides assistance, information and referrals to newcomer youth ages 12 – 24 in the Immigrant Services Office. This job is also responsible for empowering eligible newcomer youth to access information in a self-directed manner while maintaining YMCA values, as well as facilitating workshops on newcomer related topics and associated services.

START DATE: As soon as possible
LOCATION: Sudbury, ON
RATE OF PAY: $23.78 per hour
HOURS: 24 per week
