Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication among staff members.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
