Job Posting: Patient Coordinator – Medical Dermatology Clinic
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our busy Medical Dermatology Clinic. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and prior experience working in a medical office setting. This role is key in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience for our patients from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments in Accuro EMR.
- Process and reconcile OHIP billing and other third-party billing accurately and on time.
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional support.
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and staff.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
- Support day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or dermatology clinic setting.
- Proficiency with Accuro EMR and strong understanding of OHIP billing procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor.
- Knowledge of dermatology terminology and procedures (asset but not required).
