Responsibilities:
As a Meat Utility Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our meat department, ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality products. Your duties will include:
- Cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood according to our standards and customer requests.
- Assisting customers with meat selections, providing recommendations, and answering questions about products and cooking methods.
- Stocking and maintaining attractive and organized meat displays, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
- Adhering strictly to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all work areas and equipment.
- Assisting with inventory management and receiving meat products.
- Other duties as assigned to support store operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Meat Utility Clerk or in a similar role is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of various cuts of meat, proper handling, and storage techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong work ethics and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
