The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail store. This position involves assisting the Store Manager in overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train retail staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, including pricing and stock management.
- Perform cash handling duties, including register operations and daily reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Assist in visual merchandising efforts to enhance product presentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a retail environment, with prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
