The Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with Sparta Manufacturing's business objectives. This role will focus heavily on talent acquisition to meet the demands of our expanding operations, while also overseeing other HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Proficiency in English and French is mandatory to effectively communicate across our diverse workforce and stakeholder base.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the manufacturing sector.
· Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
· Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
· Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
· Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
· Implement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and employee morale.
Performance Management:
· Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
· Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and professional development plans.
Compliance and Policy Management:
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures as necessary.
Training and Development:
· Identify training needs and implement programs to support employee development and career progression.
· Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
· Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, particularly in high-growth environments.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams.
· Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
