At Banff Caribou Properties, we believe great people build great teams—and that’s where you come in. We're looking for an HR Advisor to be a trusted partner to managers and employees alike. You'll guide the people side of the business across employee relations, compliance, and policy interpretation. Whether it’s supporting a employee or coaching a manager through a tough conversation, you’ll be there to help build a fair, consistent, and people-first workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support employee relations, including investigations, discipline, and conflict resolution
• Manage WCB claims, modified work duties, and coordination with payroll and department leads
• Track and maintain compliance with mandatory certifications (e.g., First Aid, Food Safe)
• Assist employees with immigration-related matters, including PR and work permit applications
• Maintain accurate records and ensure integrity of employee data in the HRIS
• Support training and employee development programs
• Contribute to HR initiatives including engagement, retention, and policy updates
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in an HR role
• Strong knowledge of employment standards and HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• CHRP or equivalent designation (or working towards it) is an asset

This is an in-person position based in Banff, Alberta. The ideal candidate is currently residing in Banff or Canmore, or is willing to relocate to the area.
