Greeting Guests, checking them in and out, ensuring they have a comfortable stay with us. Providing top-notch customer service at all times. De-escalating challenging situations. Communicating with all departments to ensure smooth operation of the hotel.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our guest services.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing excellent phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries or reservations.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing reservations and updating guest records in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction. Excellent English proficiently both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent computer proficiency.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Documented to legally work in Canada.
