Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage the flow of guests in the dining area, ensuring timely seating while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods, communicating wait times accurately to guests.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage guest requests efficiently.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
