We are looking for a care aide as a companion to a senior male at VGH who has moderate to advanced dementia. Duties involve general companionship and accompaniment on walks around the building. Shifts would be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4:30 pm on each day.

myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.
We want to help you find more clients! You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.
Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.
