Position Title: Group Administration Specialist
Reports To: Manager, Group Administration

Term: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: 11:00AM ET – 7:00PM ET
Location: Alberta
Work Arrangements: You will work from your home office 100% of the time. You may be required to be in-person at our office in Waterloo, ON or another assigned location within the Waterloo Region, on an as needed basis. Sales related roles may be required to travel based on the assignment

What you will be doing:
- Provide excellent client service via phones and written correspondence (e.g. emails, letters)
- Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
- Assist plan members and plan sponsors with account activations
- Administer pay direct drug cards including problem solving utilizing provider's software
- Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions and group contracts to ensure that only eligible claims are paid
- Provide support to other applicable Group departments by assessing and confirming member eligibility
- Request medical evidence of insurability when necessary
- Interpret system audit reports and take corrective action when required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to interpret and apply contract provisions and administrative guidelines
- PC skills – working knowledge of MS Office, ability to learn and apply new system applications
- Ability to handle high volume of work within a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
