The Cambridge Club has an opening for a mature and reliable full-time Front Desk Manger.. Our ideal candidate has a professional positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and unique ability to make everyone feel welcome. You will help to ensure the proper functioning of the club by providing receptionist & administrative support to all departments, in addition to providing a high level of customer service to the membership. Working hours Monday - Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 6am-2pm
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of front desk Reception including reception scheduling
- Welcoming Members and their guests with a warm and positive attitude
- Ensure that every Member is checking in using their app or membership card
- Appointment scheduling for squash, massage and Oak Room reservations
- Answering phone inquiries and transfer calls to various departments
- Promote club services and social events
- Assist with organizing and executing club events
- Responsible for performance management of all Front desk staff
- Daily coaching to staff on service excellence
- Maintain neat and tidy working environment, including entrance and lobby
- Budget and operational planning
- Organized and Lead team meetings
- Inventory Management, organization of filing system & mail distribution
- Providing administrative support to other departments, including accounting & General Manager
Optimal skill requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years customer service and management experience
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Pleasant disposition and a friendly, welcoming personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
- Excellent leadership and team building skills
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting procedures an asset
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Possesses a high degree of patience and understanding

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.
Working Hours will be dictated by business demands to include net working with the club membership, actively participate in specific events and to create an environment of successful execution of functions with appropriate follow up to build a strong base for repeat business.
