Action Freightlines Corp is a fast-growing, asset-based freight forwarding and logistics company based in Brampton, Ontario. We specialize in cross-border and domestic transportation with dry vans and reefers, serving a wide range of industries with customized logistics solutions. As we scale our operations, we are looking for a results-driven Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to build and grow our client base.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new clients through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Sell international and domestic freight forwarding services (LTL, FTL, cross-border Canada–USA, warehousing, customs clearance).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain decision-makers.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service offerings tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with the operations and dispatch team to ensure successful execution of customer freight.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and pricing quotations.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM of interactions, sales pipeline, and follow-ups.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding ( Required).
- Strong cold-calling, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Goal-driven and self-motivated with a hunger for commissions and business growth.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of freight operations, customs processes, and carrier relationships is an asset.
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) is preferred.
