As an Equipment Coordinator, you will join our Equipment Services team in Calgary, AB. The team is responsible for managing and maintaining Montrose wide range of environmental field equipment, including, but not limited to, safety equipment, water quality instruments, vehicles, boats, groundwater monitoring equipment, fish nets, and GPS units.
The successful applicant will provide a broad range of services with responsibilities as follows:
  • Inspect and clean field equipment when returned from the field
  • Calibrate and repair field equipment
  • Maintain inventory levels of equipment and consumables by monitoring stock levels and ordering items as needed
  • Clean and conduct walkarounds of light duty vehicles and facilitate their maintenance with third party mechanics
  • Coordinate the availability of field equipment while picking and preparing internal equipment orders
  • Act as a point of contact for equipment-related inquires, providing support to field technicians in the selection of appropriate items. As part of this role, you will develop an understanding of the equipment’s purpose and functionality
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and vendors
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving between offices and vendors
  • Assist in the tidiness of warehouse facilities and equipment
What We Are Looking For
  • A minimum requirement of a high school diploma.
  • Post-secondary education would be considered an asset
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous cleaning or detailing experience would be considered an asset
  • Attention to detail when preparing kits
  • Mechanically and/or technically inclined
  • Previous experience with asset tracking, organization, scheduling, and customer service
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle repair would be considered an asset
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A valid class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions and clean driving record

This is a permanent position with an hourly rate range of $26.00-$35.00, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
