About the Role
We’re looking for someone who is creative, adaptable, and eager to learn to join us as our Digital Marketing & Design Associate. In this role, you’ll shape both the look and the voice of TimelyGrader, updating our website, designing new features, and building our brand across digital channels. If you love both design and storytelling and want to make an impact in edtech, this role is for you.

Note: This role is based in Vancouver, BC. You’ll work regularly in our office, collaborating closely with our team.
What you’ll do at TimelyGrader:
- Design, prototype, and refine our product UX/UI in Figma, working closely with our engineering team.
- Update and maintain our marketing website in Webflow, ensuring it’s visually engaging, user-friendly, and always up to date.
- Create visual assets and videos (Adobe Creative Suite) for product, web, email, and social media.
- Write and publish newsletters, blogs, and case studies that connect with educators and decision makers.
- Grow our social media presence with fresh, relevant content and timely updates (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
- Support marketing campaigns, virtual events, and email communications
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 1-2 years of total experience (personal or professional) in UX/UI design and marketing/content creation. We don’t expect you to have years of experience! Just a drive to learn and improve.
- A solid portfolio of product work that can speak to both your visual design and writing skills
- Proficient in Figma, Webflow, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.2.
- Strong writer who enjoys crafting blogs, newsletters, and social posts
- Comfortable managing multiple social media channels
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn and experiment
You'll get bonus points for:
- Previous experience working in a tech startup environment and/or in the higher education industry, and working with university stakeholders
- Experience with or strong understanding of generative AI tools and their applications in design and marketing.

Pay: $40,931.31-$60,000.00 per year
