The Digital Integration Coordinator engages in ongoing activities to investigate, acquire, deploy, and maintain learning technologies, including software solutions, digital tools, and larger systems such as the learning management system. These efforts have campus-wide impacts, enhancing the usability of the eLearning network and the institutional information systems that support educational activities.
The coordinator collaborates with internal and external groups to build on the technical infrastructure, enhancing the functional services these groups provide to NAIT. The coordinator assists the director in overseeing software acquisition by reviewing vendor licensing parameters while aligning vendor relationships with the expectations of internal procurement procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Asset Management- Tracking learning technology assets using standard practices and IT systems
- Coordinate cybersecurity and functional reviews for new, changing, and proposed software solutions
- Monitor software licensing and functionality changes to ensure internal business needs are met
- Explore and report opportunities for savings and consolidation of vendor solutions and services
- Asset Changes & Renewals
- Assist the Director in managing the whole life cycle of procurement projects as it relates to renewals and purchases of new software systems and services
- System Administration
- Collaborate with vendor support services to integrate new learning technologies into the existing NAIT eLearning ecosystem
- Communicate product and service alterations, changes, and outages to internal stakeholders
- Monitor and provide direct, non-automated access to enterprise systems
- Oversee and assign end-user accounts and/or licenses within systems or processes that require manual administration
- Collaboration within the Learning Technology business unit
- Assist with deploying software feedback surveys
- Provide support in relation to vendor agreements
- Assist with the training and support of Learning Technology end-users.
Skills & Abilities:
- Read and interpret contracts, license agreements, and statements of work to identify relevant legal, privacy, cyber security and IT terms and conditions that must be redirected and negotiated.
- Project management skills.
- Manage confidential information related to contracts and procurements.
- Expert-level proficiency with various learning technologies.
- Knowledge of system configuration, preferably in the post-secondary context.
- Strong problem-solving skills to network multiple tools and systems.
- Familiarity with post-secondary teaching and learning processes and andragogy.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while delivering high quality services in a timely manner.
- Ability to conduct thorough needs analysis, technology research, and deliver detailed recommendations
- Ability to coach and mentor staff in the use of learning technologies.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary achievement or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Experience with reviewing software licensing and volume purchasing agreements for minor and major software suppliers.
- Experience in presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
- Experience in planning and carrying out software license audits & reconcilements.
- Functional and Technical experience with administering Learning Technologies.
- Experience supporting technology-enabled learning.
- Experience supporting or directly using a Learning Management System (LMS).

Remuneration: $61,997.52 – $83,085.08 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification – Coordinator I)
This position is covered by the AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) Collective Agreement.
