Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and managing front desk responsibilities. This position requires proficiency in various office systems and a strong understanding of medical and dental terminology.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
- Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system efficiently.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes using software
- Provide administrative support to the team, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external parties regarding appointments and office policies.
- Ensure the office environment is organized, clean, and welcoming for patients.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office is preferred.
- Familiarity with r dental software is highly desirable.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
