Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean, well-organized, and ready for guests at all times.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
