RAPS is Seeking a Part Time Support worker to assist an individual with a Developmental Delay (E20)
Location: Spruce Grove
Days: Monday to Thursday
Hours: 15 hours a week. * Flexible schedule
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Support on outings including client transportation, planning, sourcing and participation in local activities, encouragement and guidance of independent life skills (grocery planning/ shopping,) participation in workout routines and outdoor activates, and mentorship and guidance with setting healthy boundaries in the community.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, active and reliable.
Note: Client has a therapy Dog which is present for shift
Qualifications and Other Requirements: the successful candidate will have an updated criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check, a driver’s license and vehicle with (2 million liability insurance and clean drivers abstract) for client transportation, 6months- 1 year experience in a similar role and support worker certificate considered an asset. Psychology student would be an asset.
Rate of Pay: $23.00/ Hour
