We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Certified Health Care Aides to join our team and help us continue providing exceptional care to Winnipeg’s elders.
Requirements:
✅ Health Care Aide Certificate (from a recognized institution) or Nursing/Medical credentials
✅ English language proficiency (proof required)
✅ Ability to drive and access to a car is an asset
✅ Self-motivation, responsibility, and reliability
✅ Current criminal record check (including child and adult abuse registry checks)
✅ Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
✅ Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and aggressive behaviours is an asset

Job Responsibilities:Private Care Duties:
- Assist with mobility, including walking and transfers/lifts
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Support clients with range of motion exercises
- Prompt and assist with medication intake
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance
- Assist with hygiene needs (bathing, oral care, toileting, peri-care)
- Provide engaging companionship and meaningful activities
- Assist with shopping and errands
- Transport clients to and from appointments
Institutional Care Duties:
- Provide quality care within care facilities while adhering to facility guidelines
- Assist with hygiene, nutrition, exercise, and rest
- Support client elimination needs and safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Work collaboratively with facility staff to achieve team goals
- Follow all assigned care plans and document care provided
