Job Posting: Bilingual Security Officer Supervisor Position, Fredericton, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire a Bilingual experienced Security Officer Supervisor to work at a government facility in downtown Fredericton.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Requirement: Bilingual (French/English)

The Role

The Bilingual Supervisor is to oversee all Security Officers working at the site, ensuring that all staffing needs are met, reports are completed accurately, work to secure the building both internally and externally and report to the client on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience with excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Strong technology and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and critically problem solve to meet operational objectives
• Able to successfully complete all online training
• Must meet criminal record requirements and obtain a Government of Canada Level I Enhanced security clearance
• Maintain high levels of confidentiality

• Position Responsibilities

• Managing the site, scheduling, staffing, training, and timely completion of reports
• Ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors
• Protecting the physical property in accordance with the Detail Post Orders
• Compliance with Divisional Polices and Procedures and ensuring proper dress
• Responding to after hours phone calls regarding the detail
• Monitor CCTV security cameras and alarm systems
• Maintain all equipment is inventoried and in proper working condition§
