Your Purpose: The Service Manager acts as direct support to the General Manager with the focus being server performance and quality of service. The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring all servers are performing optimally through ongoing coaching and feedback.

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s and The Canadian Brewhouse’s vision, mission and safety principles to make a difference in guest’s lives.
- Lead a team of servers to ensure that all guests receive legendary service and a “wow” experience, responding tactfully to inquiries and complaints.
- Oversee, mentor, coach, schedule and lead front-of-house team members.
- Assist in communication of strategic plans and promos to drive sales and service based on sales projections and labour targets.
- Lead by example when serving a section – follow service steps, keep a positive attitude, give great service.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the building are kept to the highest standard.
- Assist in planning, setting up and execution of in-house events.
- Audit promo tabs/voids/discounts including bar spill, kitchen spill, etc. on POS during shifts.
- Be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and periodic administrative paperwork, recordkeeping, and reporting.
- Follow the procedures set out in the Health and Safety manual.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Who You Will Work With:
The Team: Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in sales, service, employee satisfaction, and guest satisfaction. You will share feedback about programs, processes, the Service Manager role, events and product launches with the General Manager and operational leaders openly, honestly, and often.
The Community: The City of Prince Albert is in one of the best areas for hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences in Western Canada. It is a short drive to Prince Albert National Park that houses countless lakes, activities, and events to choose from! The City of Prince Albert has several parks and recreational activities as well. From Little Red River Park to The Mann Art Gallery, Alfred Jenkins Field House, and EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts, there are fun-filled activities for the entire family. No matter the season, there are endless adventure possibilities within an hour drive, making Prince Albert like no other place in Canada!
You are looking for a career in the restaurant / bar industry and:

- You possess 2+ years of experience serving in high volume settings; you possess a passion for driving sales and customer service; restaurant industry experience is preferred.
- You possess a basic understanding of financial terminology and concepts.
- You have the ability to be sales driven while being social and have strong customer service skills.
- You possess or are willing to attain Serve it Right, Food Wise, and First Aid certifications.
- You have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- You possess personal organization and time management skills.
- You have inherent coaching, leading and motivational skills.
- You are an adaptable and creative problem solver and decision maker.
- You handle stress and a fast-paced environment well.
- You are kind, patient, reasonable and show empathy.
- You work well in a dynamic team environment.
- You have the ability to work urgently while remaining calm.
- You have a flexible work schedule and will work managing shifts during peak sales hours i.e., evenings and weekends.
- You will touch as many tables as possible.
