Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Business Development Manager to lead our B2B sales efforts. You’ll play a key role in generating new commercial contracts, maintaining long-term client relationships, and building awareness of our brand across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong B2B sales experience, a customer-first mindset, and a desire to make a real impact in a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close new commercial pest control accounts (restaurants, property managers, warehouses, etc.)
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through cold calls, referrals, outbound emails, and local networking
- Meet with potential clients to assess needs, provide quotes, and present service agreements
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage contract renewals and referrals
- Work closely with technicians and the admin team to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Represent the brand at community events, networking groups, and business associations
- Keep accurate sales records, track metrics, and report performance to ownership
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience (field service, pest control, or home services a plus)
- Proven ability to close deals and consistently meet sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
- Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision
- Experience using CRM systems and basic tech tools for sales tracking
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel required within service area)
Assets (Not Required, But a Plus):
- Experience with online marketing or local lead generation campaigns
- Understanding of social media growth strategies to increase brand awareness
- Familiarity with digital tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, or Google My Business
