We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll in a timely manner.
- Utilize accounting software QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping operations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent account reconciliation skills to maintain accurate financial records.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for account analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar bookkeeping role is preferred. (At least 3 years)
- Knowledge of electrical and solar contracting would be an asset but can be taught.
