Liberty Tax Service, one of the fastest-growing retail tax preparation firms in North America, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a seasonal in-person position with the potential for long-term opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including data entry and record keeping
- Prepare and maintain financial documents, spreadsheets, and reports
- Assist with administrative tasks such as document organization, scanning, and general office duties
- Use Microsoft Excel for financial tracking, reconciliations, and reporting
- Draft and format professional emails and letters in Microsoft Word
- Support the office team with tax season preparation and organization
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all client and company records
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines consistently
Qualifications:
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Solid organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Previous bookkeeping or administrative experience is an asset
