If you love early mornings, working with your hands, and taking pride in beautifully baked breads, pastries, and desserts, this might be the perfect role for you.
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all baked items
- Decorate and finish baked goods with care and attention to detail
- Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal offerings
- Maintain inventory and place orders for baking supplies as needed
- Keep baking stations clean, safe, and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker in a commercial or artisan bakery setting
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- A passion for baking and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work early mornings and flexible shifts
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Culinary education or certification is an asset but not required
