Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
This role requires a blend of culinary skills, customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Prepare Sandwiches & other cafe items.
- Ensuring quality and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area according to food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked items for service.
- Efficient time management is a must.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Baker is preferred.
- Some barista experience would be desirable.
- Proficiency in various baking methods including bread and cakes.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong background in food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
