We are looking for individuals to join our bread baking team. A passion for baking and willingness to learn is an asset.
Applicants must be able to work evenings, holidays + weekends. Our team makes everything from scratch and by hand. You will be working with a dynamic group of individuals that have a wealth of baking knowledge (15+ years) to share.
What the Job entails:
Shifts are scheduled starting at 3pm-11pm/4pm-12am and are 7-8 hours (depending on the season)
Preparing raw goods for fillings
Shaping, rolling + scaling dough
Proofing breads + pastries
Lamination, cutting + shaping of croissants
Scaling + measuring ingredients
Use of equipment such as convection ovens, proofers, sheeter, mixers, convection ovens, robot coupe, balance, mechanical + digital scales
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Are reliable + respectful
Work well as part of a team
Work well with little or no supervision
Basic culinary skills such as proper knife handling + safe food handling are required
Applicants must be able to read + follow directions and recipes
Understanding of weights + measures
Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
Able to withstand repetitive movements + standing for the duration of a shift
Ability to bending + lifting over your head
Organized, work quickly + keep a tidy work space
Experience working with yeasted + sourdough based breads are asset
Wage will be based on experience + skill level.
