We are seeking a part-time After-Hours Coordinator to join our team. About the Role
As the After-Hours Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person when the office closes. You’ll be the first call for clients, families, and staff who need support during evenings and weekends.
· Remote role – work from home while staying connected with your team.
· Hours – weekday evenings (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) plus every other weekend (on-call rotation).
· Impact – keep care running smoothly by solving problems in real time, supporting staff, and ensuring clients feel safe and cared for.

Key Responsibilities
· Respond promptly to client, family, and staff calls during after-hours coverage.
· Manage last-minute book-offs, scheduling changes, and shift replacements in real time.
· Document all calls, incidents, and schedule adjustments in Electronic Health Record (training provided).
· Follow escalation pathways for clinical or operational issues, notifying the on-call manager as required.
· Support staff with guidance, problem-solving, and reassurance while ensuring professional communication.
· Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all after-hours activities.

Qualifications
· College diploma or degree in healthcare, health administration, or a related field preferred.
· Previous experience in healthcare, home care, or client service coordination is an asset.
· Strong computer and technology skills; comfort with learning new software is essential.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize competing demands.
