Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office, contributing to a positive work environment and enhancing overall productivity. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Assist with financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and paper).
- Coordinate scheduling system for unionized employees.
- Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative support, office management, or bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and basic accounting principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- General computer knowledge and comfort with technology; experience with QuickBooks is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-focused mindset.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
