We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Nisku, Alberta operational location. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for providing administrative support, and intake of routine and/or confidential materials/inquiries. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a warehouse or shop environment, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and sign-in visitors/couriers
- Answer main switchboard
- Data entry
- Facilitate boardroom bookings, catering, and company meetings or events
- Maintain/Order for kitchens and print area supplies and stationery as necessary
- Receive motor return reports for Canada, and update service tracking spreadsheets with motors that require servicing.
- Maintain staff directories and extension lists / update the answering service with weekly call lists
- Review servicing transactions to ensure all items have been handled properly, contact appropriate personnel for all discrepancies, and work to resolve errors and omissions.
- Assist with periodic asset verification counts and reconciliation.
- Assist with coverage of other administrative duties during vacation or other absences.
- Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
- Maintain filing system(s) (electronic and hard copy)
- Maintain job related data and files
- Knowledge to promote and apply the established Quality Management System within his/her scope of work
- Promote environmental awareness and conservation of natural resources, as well as oversee proper classification and disposal of solid and dangerous wastes.
