Admin Assistant for Adult Day Program for Adults with Intellectual Differences
This is a great opportunity for an organized, professional administrator who is able to efficiently manage multiple demands in a busy private adult learning centre. This role supports the Executive Director and Program Manager in program administration, communications, social media, event management, and projects.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration
Manage all aspects of office administration, including customer service; student attendance; enrollment and registration forms; accounting support; student and staff email accounts and access; curriculum orders; inventory & supply management; maintaining office equipment; facilities management, etc.
Communication & Marketing
Responsible for writing monthly newsletter, and social media posts/management. Responsible for updating the student handbook and admin manual; creating the program calendar; managing email distribution lists, etc.
Website: Responsible for maintaining up-to-date information on WordPress website.
Events: Responsible for the management of special events throughout the year such as Curriculum Night, Receptions, Open Houses, Staff parties, year-end events, etc.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
University or college degree
- 5+ years experience in communications & administrative roles
- Superior organization skills, with a strong eye for detail and follow up
- Highly proficient in the use of Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Slides, Sheets, admin)
- Superior writing ability and communication skills
- Website editing experience with WordPress
- Social Media Campaign Management Experience
