Summary
We are seeking an experienced, well-organized, and friendly individual to join us as a full-time Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable. This position involves handling accounts payable data entry and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate will also become increasingly involved in construction-related administrative tasks such as permit applications, service requests, and other duties to assist with the overall workflow of the office.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices and provide basic accounting support as needed.
- Greet visitors in a prompt and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls and emails
- Handle courier deliveries (incoming and outgoing)
- Perform photocopying, filing, and general administrative tasks
- Assist with permit applications and utility setup
- Manage service requests and respond to general inquiries
- Track and restock office supplies
- Assist with additional projects and miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in construction is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting Software is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Team‑oriented with a positive, professional demeanor
- Commitment to outstanding customer service
Details:
- Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications
