Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and an understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare reports as needed.
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments or discrepancies.
- Support the finance team with additional accounting tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
