Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk, Permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer.
Job Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be part of the team responsible for accounts receivable duties for large group of residential properties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Through the employee’s own efforts, the employee is responsible for accomplishing the following accurately and timely:
- Verifying and posting large volume of receipts
- Monitoring multiple aged accounts receivable reports
- Posting monthly rent charges to all tenants
- Posting day-to-day adjustments to tenants’ accounts as required
- Communicate with site managers about collections, tenant turnovers, etc.
- Prepare rent increase and non-payment notices monthly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounts receivable
- Moderate Excel software skills
- Comfortable with learning and using various software programs
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager
