We are currently hiring a full-time, permanent Accounting & Payroll Clerk to support our growing team and play a key role in maintaining the financial health and smooth payroll operations across our company.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and efficiency
- Reconciling and balancing accounts while ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Collaborating with other departments to keep financial information flowing
- Providing general administrative support to the accounting team
- Maintaining payroll records and processing changes in the payroll system
- Running bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Assisting in the preparation of payroll reports, including taxes and benefits
- Ensuring payroll data confidentiality and integrity
What You Bring to the Role:
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with accounting software
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a strong asset
Bonus Points For:
- Payroll-related certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Manager or PCP)
- Additional training or experience with accounting platforms like QuickBooks or Sage
