Service Requirement: Account Coordinator
EBM (Empowered Brand Marketing): EBM is Canada’s largest and most respected in store liquor tasting/food sampling management company. We are looking to grow our service team with the addition of an Account Coordinator to manage liquor tastings and guest in store sampling events at select retailers.

Account Coordinator will work closely with Vendors (Client), Sampling Agencies and major Grocery Retailers to ensure deadlines and sampling processes are adhered to. Must possess strong English written and oral communication skills, along with excellent organizational capacity to manage multiple tasting events across grocery retailers. This individual will need to work within a structured system to meet strict deadlines, while assuming full accountability for the success of the events. EBM functions within a hybrid work–result based environment; as such we are looking for a self regulating & professionally mature member to join our service team. Strong attention to detail is a must to produce error free work. Candidate will be experienced working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Must possess a “can do” attitude in dealing with different aspects of the job that present themselves daily. Provide excellent customer service to vendors, retailers, and agencies. This is an excellent entry level position for marketing/promotions/business administration candidates. Account Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Lead relationship/contact for major Beer/Wine distributors.
- Promote/educate tasting program to Beer/Wine distributors at select grocery retailers.
- Create proposal/contract as per rate card.
- Maximize calendar opportunities through resourceful scheduling of tasting events with major distributors.
- Create tasting program bulletin for submission to retailer for event approval.
- Maintain event schedule within our internal tracking system.
- Schedule agencies to conduct tastings at store level and ensure agencies are set up for success (weekly calls).
- Coordinate asset creation/deployment to the stores through our third-party providers.
- Prepare final reports required to support events.
- Reconcile all associated costs as per contract for EBM finance department.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Printing POS – obtaining quotes.
- Participate in weekly agency calls to sampling agencies.
- Participate in weekly retailer calls to specific retail team.
- Vacation relief (cross training, multiple rolls across department).
- Support EBM team members across departments.
Required Job Skills:
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Administration, Business Communication, or Marketing, along with a minimum of one year of directly related work experience.
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills written/verbal.
- Self-regulate priorities to meet deadlines and review your own work to ensure accuracy.
- Natural aptitude for customer service.
- Intermediate abilities using Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Team player, positive attitude and enthusiastic.
- Display strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Working independently within a close supportive team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $53,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
