Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete cleaning tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, including moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance as needed, reporting any issues or repairs required to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored securely after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance concepts is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning activities.
