Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all supplies are stocked.
- Assist in food preparation by cleaning vegetables and other ingredients as needed.
- Properly handle food items according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
- Experience in food service or hospitality settings will be advantageous.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
