We are hiring for a full-time Wealth Business Development Coordinator to join our Wealth Strategies Operations team.
The Wealth Business Development Coordinator collaborates with all levels of wealth, insurance, and estate. They capture and are able to communicate a high-level business development roadmap to stakeholders, including the Vice President, Wealth and the Assistant Vice President, Insurance Services, and their direct reports, on marketing’s plans and tactics in the wealth, insurance, and estate areas. A keen understanding of the products and services offered, the structure and roles of the wealth, insurance, and estate teams and be able to support multiple initiatives at the same time is a must.
What You'll be Doing:
- Supporting business development ideas and activities by being a resource to support the execution of action items related to initiatives.
- Working with stakeholders to receive action items to coordinate business development activities that generate new business.
- Providing stakeholders with timelines for initiation and execution of business development plans by collecting planned activities into a consolidated
- Articulate and present plan activities that will require resources to senior leadership.
- Consulting with Marketing in the development of compelling wealth, insurance, and estate marketing initiatives that support business development.
- Anticipating and providing a broad range of administrative support services related to business plan development, initiation, and execution.
- Providing support to members of the wealth management leadership team on initiatives or projects, often taking the lead role once a course of action has been identified by management, including wealth related member events.
What you Bring:
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the wealth industry including sales, marketing, and coordinator roles.
- Knowledge of financial planning, products, and policies.
- Proven performance as a self-motivated individual.
- Has worked in a strategic manner with senior level clients.
Education and Training:
- High School
- Finance or marketing related post-secondary is an asset.
- Thorough understanding of financial products and services is an asset.
