Overview
The Waterfront Director is responsible for overseeing all waterfront activities and programs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. This leadership role requires a passion for outdoor recreation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage staff effectively. The Waterfront Director will work closely with various teams to develop and implement programs that promote water safety.
Duties
- Lead, supervise, and support all waterfront staff and activities
- Oversee safety procedures and emergency responses on the waterfront
- Provide regular staff feedback, evaluations, and documentation
- Assist with planning and facilitating pre-camp training, staff meetings, and events
- Collaborate with senior leadership and support general camp operations
- Participate actively in daily programs, evening activities, and special events
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age at time of employment
- experience working with children (camp preferred)
- NLS Certification (required)
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C (required)
- Instructor certifications (recommended)
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills
- Experience planning and delivering aquatic lessons and programming

Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $16.55-$24.26 per hour
