Job description
We are seeking qualified Water Rescue personnel to join our team. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, and have experience with water rescue, emergency management and safety.
Accommodations, travel and meal allowance will be provided for these project-based roles as required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assess water rescue emergency scenes and patients
· Provide water recovery assistance and medical treatments within assigned role scope
· Maintain statistics and records, monitor accident/incident frequencies, and track safety violations
· Assist in investigations and complete related documentation
· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Work effectively as part of a team
· Maintain confidentiality in the workplace
· Offer support to workers in need of assistance
· Monitor the environment for changing weather conditions, safety infractions or hazards
· Liaise with emergency responders as required
· Conduct regular equipment inspections
· Committed to high standards in water rescue and safety performance
· Utilize two-way radio and computer applications
· Maintain basic housekeeping of work area
· Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the safety culture
· Assist Health & Safety manager and site supervisor as required
Requirements:
- ·Valid Standard First Aid certification
- Boating License (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Fluency in written and spoken English
· Successful completion of Drug and Alcohol Screening
· Candidates with a valid NLS certification will be given preference

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
