Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Review open orders set for delivery and open service orders
- Communicate any shipment discrepancies or problems promptly to the Warehouse Operations Manager
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing orders efficiently
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is an asset
- Familiarity with order picking, packaging, and shipping procedures
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently is a plus- training is available
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift/carry items up to 50lbs and move objects exceeding 100lbs using appropriate equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
