Caribou Electric is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team This position plays a critical role in the coordination of shipments, inventory control, and warehouse operations. It requires physical capability, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international)
- Load/unload trucks and couriers; ensure accurate shipping documentation
- Organize and maintain an efficient, accessible warehouse layout
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- 3+ years of shipping/receiving experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform labour-intensive tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
Preferred
- Forklift certification
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of international logistics and customs documentation
- Experience working with large engine components or heavy parts
