We are seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team at HVAC X SUPPLY. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse specializing in HVAC products. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment to meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify and cross-check orders to ensure correct items and quantities are processed.
- Stock Management:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring the warehouse is neat and well-organized.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies and regulations regarding warehouse operations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and drivers to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and improving warehouse processes.
Qualifications:
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic computer skills to use inventory management systems.
- Certifications:
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Attributes:
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
